Points & Difficulty Levels
Points are awarded as follows:
- 100 points for guessing a 3-letter anagram
- 200 points for guessing a 4-letter anagram
- 300 points for guessing a 5-letter anagram
- 400 points for guessing a 6-letter anagram
- 500 points for guessing a 7-letter anagram
- + 500 points bonus for guessing a mystery word, regardless of length.
So, if you are playing with a 7-letter mystery word, and guess the mystery word, you get 1000 points - 500 for guessing the word, and another 500 for guessing the mystery word.
GiantCrayon WordSoup has three difficulty levels:
- Easy Mode
- Normal Mode
- Hard Mode
The difference between the levels is simply the amount of time allowed for each level. In Normal Mode, you get quite a bit of time to guess all of the possible anagrams. In Hard Mode, however, your time is nearly cut in half.
